It's weird.

I joined Marching because I enjoy it..
but,
All my friends ask me why am I joining when I admitted the squad this year doesn't have much chance to win unless everyone show more commitment.
They assumed that I joined for the certificate and the co-curiccular marks.
Is it really that hard for them to believe that I joined because I enjoyed marching. Heck, if it was marks and certificate I wanted, I didn't need to join since I could use my Form 5 one in which we got 2nd place.
I realize that in my school(i dare not say the whole country) many the exact copy of my friends. Joining activities and doing anything only if they get some benefit over it.
If they don't get any benefit over it
(not counting the satisfaction-i doubt they know how to appreciate even that), they would not join.

Not only that, the worst type would be those who wants to volunteer for eveything and snag all the posts but will not do anything. Or would find all sorts of excuse.. and dump all work to others.
It would be acceptable if they asked properly AND POLITELY.

now I remember.
And why is it..
many find it weird for me to continue my Tae Kwon Do training when I have no intention of taking my 2nd Dan test this year?
They all go "why are you still going for training then? O_o"
And well I personally think this: If I only went for the sake of grading then It would defeat the purpose of my training anyway since my target is only on going up the steps and not on how it would help enrich my life..
It's a good exercise. I enjoy it as well.
I'm so NOt sorry over the fact that I am not like the majority, going for training only to get a new belt or to pass their grading and then vanish when they decided they are 'high' enough.

I am not that satisfied with some of her answers but...
as I was going home... I gave things a lot of thought and
well.. decided.. my English isn't perfect anyways and I know that for a fact.
So why do I always seem to object my teacher's answer?
Lately, I always end up feeling unsatisfied over her answers.
Well.. technically I chided mself knowing that if it was any other teacher who gave the explanation, I would have meekly accepted the explanation and my mistake..
I am probably being unfair towards her..

Since having a lazy English teacher does not necessarily mean she is not..
competent in teaching shall we say.. or rather, it does not mean her command of the language is worst than mine.

well.. I suppose... it IS after all Good Friday..
maybe it would do me and others a little good by not underestimating my current english teacher..

So.. WenJi will try to be.. more..co-operative with the teacher I suppose..
and would not.. doubt her too much..
I am however very glad that she seems to have a new target to call upon in class.. <3

Whatever it is.. I suppose I did try my best in the exam after all and it was all my own effort since I do not take any tuition or extra classes for it..

I suppose it is an acceptable result since I am not a genius in the language anyway.
I'll just hope for the best in my coming MUET finals. ^^

..which needs a serious decision making.

So.. I have friends asking me to join the marching squad to represent our school for the coming competition -Zon Pudu-. Since usually the squad is made up of only Form 1- form 5 members.. but they do not have enough members this year and asked us form 6 ones with experience to join...

Only Red Cresent society members are allowed and my school's girls are all.. the bookworm typr.. not many want to join.

To join would mean..
I need to stay back after school daily for practice...
and that would mean my schedule would be even tighter than it already is.
And I need to get new gloves and marching shoes..
(I gave my old gloves away and threw my old marching shoes after what I believed was my last time in marching as..it already had a hole at the sole for half a year)

That reason as it is should stop me from even thinking of joining but yet...
I love marching. I enjoy the whole squad working together for a common goal.
I enjoy the practice sessions even if we turn out like indians and get punished for only one person's mistake..
The satisfaction..is just priceless...
Not only that,...during my last marching competition,..
it was during my form 5 when we only managed to get 2nd place at Zon Pudu.
The whole squad was sad.. but then.. as seniors me and my friends had to mask our dissapointment and console the crying juniors instead with words such as "It's okay, you still have another chance next year and the next and the year after that to try,.." knowing deep in our hearts that we would not get another chance as it was our last year.
but,.. now.. I can't deny it..
It's my 'another chance' although there's a possibility this year's squad might not reach as far as my squad that year..
but still.. to not join would.. be giving up on the small chance that all of us wished for 2 years ago.

It's that against my.. future-that is my studies. Not that I can't manage my time, it's just that whether I like it or not.. it would affect my studies as I would be more tired daily.

I am trying my best to weigh the pros and cons.. but.. I am stuck..
It has been bugging me since my junior asked if I wanted to join on Wednesday..

... I don't know.. as of now, after thinking for 3 days, I am still unsure of my decision. I have to confirm next week. This is going to be a long weekend.. ._.;;

And thinking about this actually affects me more than I want it to...
mentally... it's exhausting.. that I am not really myself these few days..
And the fact that my University English Test's trials was yesterday and next Wednesday.. and then I had to settle my club's matters..Those were the main things this week..

I was planning to post about.. my English teacher... seriously.. I planned this at school during English.. it is her fault actually.. because..
I said to monkey I would rant about her if she called me to read out my thesis statement instead of anyone else even when I was coughing in that dusty and smelly room...
It is bad enough she called me every other time.. she could've called someone else when I was sick right?
She.. on the other hand.. could not resist although it was obvious to all that my voice is still...not back to normal and I cough every 5 minutes or so..
Any normal teacher would take the cough and rough voice as a hint nad not ask me for my answer..
You see...
the main reason I am annnoyed at her is most probably because.. unlike my past English teachers, she always insists her thesis statement, her answers, her summary, her paraphrasing etc. is always the best.
Her other predecessors,.. used to ask us students if we had any better ones, or if we could improve theirs. but.. my current teacher.. insists hers is always the best in the whole class..
So very full of herself..I loath to listen to her self-praise every lesson.. -.-;;
The only reason my whole class is going to her classes is because.... well it's relaxing compared to other subjects.. it gives us a nice rest.. and ample time to finish our homework or whatnot XD
